Trumpcare has passed the House and absolutely nobody seems to be pleased about it except for President Trump and the Republicans in the House.  Oh, and the House Democrats.  They can clearly comprehend how stupid it is to pass an unpopular health care bill without any bipartisan support, after all.

They’ve been mum on it, but there’s no doubt that the insurance companies are orgasmic over it, since this bill would enable them to charge the dying and desperate even more than they could under Obamacare.

Naturally, I hate the bill because I don’t think it goes far enough.  Even if you don’t think so, does any serious person believe this bill is going to control costs any better than the ACA or that it benefits anyone besides the health insurance industry?

Me personally, I’d like to believe that the Senate and House are just going to keep sending shitty bills back to each other while Obamacare continues to collapse so they can build a true replacement when it’s a crisis and they have the power of urgency.  I’m sure I’m wrong about that though.

I’m going to go on a limb here and assume that nobody here is in favor of this so-called ACA repeal-and-replacement.  That said, I have no idea what to predict next.

What do you guys see coming from the Senate?  How bad will the ultimate bill that reaches Trump’s desk be?

    This!
These assholes wil keep tossing this around , sending it back and for to be killed, raise the hysteria, blah bla balh just top keep the trump supports placated, keep the freedom caucus busy, and have a issue for the 2018 election, to run on.
the only reason that the GOPe, even allowed this to move forward, and allowed changes to just barley get the Freedom cacuus on, was to see it die in the Senate. Another round of I told you so’s from the GOPe, with Dem backing.

Thisi s not gonna be over till we get single payer, and then the real hell begins.

  2. i guess I’d be triggered if this weren’t the death knell of the Republican Party. Trump may survive this but the republicans will not.

The part I really just LOL’ed when I read was they actually kept the tax break in there, bigger than shit. Lmao. I guess they had to, that tax break is about 17 percent to the wealthiest Americans and a big part of his YUGE plan to repeal taxes for no one but wealthy New York elites, but man. Talk about ouch making republicans sell their soul to do that. What a stab in the back to the party he ran with.

Now while this gets kicked around in the senate the first child will die due to a laps in coverage and that’s all she wrote for 2018.

To be fair I really can’t wait for the Republican Party to be marginalized and powerless again. I’m also in favor of retooling the electorate when dems are back in power to strip any and all influence from the parking lot states, by tru reflection of population. They’re a hinderance to progress at this point and really they shouldn’t have a voice. China is already cloning, creating medicines beyond your wildest imagination with stem cells, and god only knows what else. We’re worried about coal miners and which bathroom a tranny uses.

We’re in a global market. As a nation we pay 17 percent of our GDP to healthcare which is on the backs of employers. Even nations with Cadillac government plans pay less than ten percent at not much more than five percent annually. Which means healthcare not being capped or regulated makes us the most expensive nation in the world to employ, even against nations we used to scoff at for Cadillac social safety nets.

After seeing the town halls of anger you’d have thought republicans would’ve recognized that even if the issue was popular for them at one time it changed. But nope, they showed they don’t give one shot about the hillbillies that stupidly voted for them. This was only about kicking the downtrodden and paying the only voting class that matters to republicans and I can’t thank them enough for doing that.

  4. It probably won’t pass muster in the Senate without major changes. Of course the Left are screaming that Trump wants to kill the old people, but that might happen anyway as insurers abandon Obamacare. It is indeed dead, it just doesn’t know it yet.
