Hey Mr. DJ: White Castle Edition

My plan for the week was a counter-point to the Wall DJ post, but then I saw the image above and had a chuckle despite not having any problem whatsoever with Trump’s fast-food spread at the White House. Well, except for the crimes against humanity involved in serving what must be ice cold burgers and fries. That shit should be served 2 seconds after coming out of the grill/fryer, not hauled to a big building and sorted out on metal (!) trays.

My love of fast food and junk food is legendary and the whole scene was weirdly endearing with a billionaire President presenting a fast-food spread on silver platters like “What?”. It is like something from a Hiassen novel and I love Hiassen novels.

1. Food and Beverages – Play songs about food, fast or gourmet, and its accouterments.
2. Out of Place and Time – No question, this event was less than ideal due to a skeleton crew at the WH. Play surreal or trippy songs.
3. Gone in 60 Seconds – Which is how long it would take me to eat one of those Quarter Pounders. Play fast thrashy songs. We can continue at least something from last week!
