Things remain busy at the House of Thrill, but we’re doing well! My wife has no surgeries lined up for the time being and is recovering from last week’s quite nicely, so we have decided just to enjoy the summer the best we can.
Next Friday will be the official first day of Summer. Let’s ring it in early with songs of summer activities, memories, and oppressive heat and humidity!
PS: Good to see a fresh post from Rich! I plan to join him soon in churning out some content.

These songs always reminded me of summer when I was growing up…..
Yes — Roundabout
Alice Cooper — School’s Out
Wow, it’s been nearly two months with no activity here? Hope everything’s all right…
In the meantime, quite a bit has happened-Jefferey Epstein’s death/murder/suicide, another trade war with China, there may or may not be a recession coming, a bunch of people want to invade Area 51, and it may be time for Ruth Bader Ginsberg to step down. Also Peter Fonda passed away, smoke from the Amazon rain forest fires have literally turned day into night in Brazil, and Sean Spicer was on Dancing with the Stars for some reason.
Time for some more weekly updates?
There’s been another shooting, in Texas. Dorian may or may not hit Florida, but Trump will still be blamed. Trump also fired his personal assistant for talking out of turn. Joe Biden babbles on, but Elizabeth Warren seems to be rising.
Robert Mugabe, who robbed his own country blind for decades, is now taking a dirt nap. Suffice it to say he won’t be missed, except by the other thugs who are now praising him.
Mugabe’s legacy
This week in ridiculousness: John Bolton got canned, T Boone Pickens died, and Gavin Newsom goes after the gig economy in California.
This week’s weekend updates include:
The NY Times apparently believing it has a new case against Kavanaugh.
Antonio Brown may be in some real trouble.
Bin Laden’s hellspawn seems to have joined him in Hell.
Boris Johnson is finding out that being PM might not be as fun as he thought it would be.
Also Eddy Money passed away. RIP, my man:

Weekly updates:
Trump apparently asked Ukraine to investigate Hunter Biden, and he has to provide video testimony for something that happened in 2015, big Democratic donor Ed Buck has been busted, and Antonio Brown’s career with the Patriots is over before it began…also Mars apparently has a magnetic clock that chimes at midnight, and RIP Rick Ocasek:

With the Democrats now gleefully going ahead with their railroading of the President for having won the election, er, doing their Constitutional duty (or something) now seems as good a time as any for a relevant DJ thread. Songs can be about being in trouble with the law, being wrongly accused, or having to go to court.
Here’s one to start with:
Radiohead-Burn the Witch
Cheech and Chong — Framed
Impeachment circus week in review: Trump wants China to investigate the Bidens, who are, along with some other Democrats, increasingly having their own problems with Ukraine. And then there’s this:

As a consequence, this week’s music thread can be about anything kid-related. Having a kid, not wanting kids, loving or hating your kids, etc. Here are a few:

As this was mental illness awareness week, this week’s songs can be about that subject. Mental health issues, going crazy, going sane, etc:

Thoughts on Day 1 of the impeachment hearings?
My thought is as follows: The Democrats are doing everything in their power to absolutely ruin this country.
Roger Stone is found guilty…Trump might have intimidated the ambassador lady with a mean tweet, or something…and the NFL gets ugly, or normal, depending on your POV.
With that in mind, this week’s music thread can be about “anything goes.” Different music styles, combinations of different styles, etc.

Just as the Brexit vote was a precursor to the Trump victory, Johnson’s blowout win is a lead-in to Trump’s 2020 landslide. And just as the whiney sore losers in the UK are throwing hissy-fits, this will repeat in the US come the day after election day. Thoughts on Day 1 of the impeachment hearings? No follow-up questions? To all leftists: How does it feel to realize that you have been mercilessly lied to these past three years re: collusion, the Steele dossier, Kavanaugh, “quid pro quo” and so on? How does it feel to have lectured us relentlessly about… Read more »

So I guess this blog is dead? Too bad, I’d be interested in what that loser Hal the horseshitter 10000 has to say about our rapidly devolving Country. He was a big fan of self serving grandstanding over every white on black encounter. Bet he’s spanking it now. He also had an issue any time the right would claim the left were anti-American. Idiot is probably still in denial on that one too.
Thanks for stopping by my page! I’m Philip Flowers. Even though I jokingly credit my grandmother for my writing talent, I know that it is a skill I have fostered from childhood. Though my grandmother is a writer, I also started out young. I’ve always had a way with words, according to my favorite teacher . I was always so excited in history when we had to do a research writing assignment. Now, I help current learners achieve the grades that have always come easily to me. It is my way of giving back to communities because I understand the… Read more »
